RISE makes it easy for team members and clients to communicate directly within the platform. However, this communication is controlled by permissions set by the admin. This ensures that only authorized users can send or receive messages.
Setting Permissions for Team Members
Admins can choose which team members are allowed to send or receive messages from clients.
To configure this:
- Go to Settings > Client portal > Client permissions
- Look for the option: Who can send/receive message to/from clients
- From the dropdown list, select the desired team roles or specific team members who should be allowed to communicate with clients.
Only the selected team members will be able to message clients or receive messages from them.
Communication Between Client Contact
RISE also allows client contacts (people within the same client organization) to communicate with each other.
To control this option:
- Go to Settings > Client portal > Client permissions
- Find the setting: Client can send/receive message to/from own contacts?
- Toggle Yes or No:
- Yes: Allows client contacts under the same client to message each other.
- No: Restricts communication between client contacts.
Ways to Communicate
There are three main ways to communicate in RISE CRM.
- Messages – You can send messages between team members and clients if permissions allow.
- Chat – Use real-time chat for quick, instant conversations.
- Email Notifications – The email notifications can be sent based on your Message or Chat.
To configure email notifications: Go to Settings > App settings > Notification settings
